Field target is an outdoor airgun field shooting sport. Competitions are usually fired at self indicating steel targets placed between 9 to 50 m (9.8 to 54.7 yd). There are two classes; Piston for spring-piston air guns, and PCP for pre-charged pneumatic air guns.
HFT is set in the woods, with 30 knock down target set out ranging between 8-45 yards, 2 points for knocking the target over and 1 point for plating. There is a mixture of prone, standing and kneeling shots.
The Long distance PCP competition is held up the top of the club, targets range from 50 - 90 yards, you get 5 shots at each with 10 points for a bullseye going down to 4 points, maximum points is 250. Most points wins.

Are open site competition is a 20 target course set out, no diopter sights just iron / open, scored like HFT, 2 points if you knock it over, 1 point if plated with a maximum distance of 30 yards.
